TRAIL INJURIES

You name it, someone had it. Here are just a few of the most common daily afflictions on the trail:

Swollen feet, blisters, black toes, yellow toes, athlete's foot, tendonitis, shin splints, back pain, shoulder pain, "swampfoot", sunburn, allergies, hip rash, chaffing, heat rash, back rash, knee pain, muscle pain, joint pain, sprained ankles, arch pain, bug bites, lice, dehydration, hunger, and fatigue.

I took these pictures especially for everyone who told me "Oh you're so lucky you don't have to WORK for 6 months." Well I worked harder than I ever have in my life to achieve this goal. And my body, just like every other thru-hiker's, showed it.
