ON THE BOAT
|
We did a beach dive on the first day to get our buoyancy right and to check out all the tires and spark plugs near the cruise ships. Ok, it wasn't that bad but it was far from the paradise I expected. Luckily the boat dives were much better. I have nice pictures from the beach dive but you will have to be patient and check back later to see them because I took them at too high of a resolution with my dad's digital camera and the files are too big to upload. Oh well.
The next day we headed out for two afternoon dives from the boat. Our first dive was at Tormentos (which means "Storm", not Torture!) and we went to a depth of 60 feet. It was a beautiful drift dive with a nice current.
The next dive we did was at Paraiso at a depth of 40 feet. Howie had to hang back on that one after his sinus exploded and he was hurling up blood :( I wish he would have hurled through his regulator so I could watch the fish come around and eat all the vomit (next time Howie). Luckily he was ok and able to dive again the next day.
