The next day of boat dives took us first to Palancar Gardens at a depth of 62 feet. It was an incredible dive through coral tunnels.
The second dive we did was at Yucab Reef at a depth of 50 feet. That one was a flat reef dive with a nice slow current. I saw 2 lobster, a toad fish, 2 crabs, and a most amazingly beautiful giant stingray.
On our final day of diving we went to Palancar Caves at a depth of 80 feet. If you were on this dive you may have seen me shoot up like a rocket when we got up to 35 feet. We finally figured out I was overweighted and the extra air I had in my BC was enough to shoot me up to the top after that deep dive. Luckily I only shot up from 35 feet but it was a little scary to be out of control. All part of the learning process, right Randy?
Our final dive was probably my favorite. That one took us to Pasa del Cedral at a depth of 45 feet. We saw everything, including several schools of fish, nice big Parrot Fish (pooping lots and lots of sand of course), Lobster, a Spotted Eagle Ray, a big Nurse Shark, and a couple Barracuda. It was so cool!
